At the core of Golan Heights Winery is the desire to express the unique volcanic soils, extreme winter and summer climate, and varying elevations of the Golan Heights terroir. Yarden, the flagship label of Golan Heights Winery, represents Israel’s finest vineyards, crafting wines that reflect the region’s heritage. For the winery’s 40th anniversary, Yarden Cru Elite, a single-vineyard wine label, was released in limited availability. The winery’s additional labels, Mount Hermon and Gilgal are known for accessible quality, expressive, fruit-forward wines and capturing the distinct flavors of the Galilee and Golan Heights.

Head Winemaker Victor Schoenfeld is world-renowned for his ability to harness the Golan Heights terroir through constant study, precision viticulture, and technological innovation from vineyard to cellar. Under the guidance of Schoenfeld and his team, Golan Heights Winery has received global recognition for Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux-style wines. The team has constantly pursued innovation in the region by introducing new styles and varieties such as Syrah, Pinot Noir, Sangiovese, and Gewürztraminer.

Sustainable Leaders

A driving force for quality and sustainability standards, Golan Heights Winery has partnered with world leaders ENTAV-INRA to supply clean virus-free plant material to the emerging Israeli wine industry. Golan Heights was also the first Israeli winery to adopt the LODI RULES from California, the global standard in sustainable certification.
